AMBE – Spanish Brands and Bicycle Association – is a national level association composed by manufacturers, importers, distributors and agents of the cyclist industry. AMBE was created in 2010 and currently is composed by 60 Companies. AMBE acts as a bond to build bridges with the Spanish Authorities, private actors, trade shows, commerce institutes, and sport federations, to realize advocacy activities. AMBE’s relationship with Spanish organizations and furthermore with Europeans cyclist organizations gives to AMBE a predominant position to achieve its goals within the country. The Association of the Hungarian Bicycle Producers and Traders (MKKSZ) was founded in 1993 is the advocacy organization of the Hungarian bicycle producers, importers and wholesalers. Currently has 9 members. The main target of the organization is to collect, harmonize, represent and protect the interest of the members and to help the ethical and high level industrial and trade activities of the players in the bicycle field of Hungary.
The objectives of the Association are:
- Help and act to make the use of bicycle more popular in transportation, sport and everyday life
- Validate the interest of the members at the government and at different authorities
- Set and let keep ethical standards
- Provide information about market and regulation issues
- Assist in the development and modification of the related standards which influence the targets of the members
- Assist and force the establishment of the conditions of safe cycling
- Take part in programs and projects which support social groups in the framework of social responsibility
